My Aunt just took me on a $500 shopping spree with promises of accessory shopping tomorrow. Apparently I'm going on vacation on the week of August 13. I keep hearing my mother whispering on the phone, "Oh she's going to love it." I just can't figure out WHERE I'm going (my mom won't tell me anything.) This is what I've figured out.
  • I have to have NICE dresses for two nights.
  • All of my clothes have to be cool because its hot there.
  • It's not a road trip.
  • I've been forced to get my underage ID.
  • I'll be taking a lot of sight seeing pictures.
  • It's not in state.
  • My mom's not coming.
It's driving me nuts. ermm.gif

Has someone ever surprised a trip on you?

Lmao, okay Tina!!! (STALKER!!!!)

I think it may be a cruise because Aug. 13th is their anniversary and they went on a cruise last year; my mom did hint about a lot of sight seeing though. XD.gif

^I thought when you mentioned formal clothing that it'd be a cruise.. We get a lot of customers around this time that are going on cruises, shopping for nice shoes for dinner and whatnot.

I do know that I'll also need luggage. There was hinting about flying? It may be a cruise though, which would be nice. (Even if I watched that thing on Montel about cruises.) Where do you work?

We saw a snake on our porch when we were going out last night. It slithered.... IT SLITHERED!!!!!

omg Libi, that is awesome. That hasnt really happened to me, the first year I went to disney world, but dad had gotten a bonus at work and he was like "Do you guys wanna go shopping or go to disney world?"

but thats the closest thing to a "SURPRISE!" vacation I got.

Yes, at 4am in the morning my mom woke me up and told me to pack a week's worth of clothes, and that we were leaving in an hour.

We went on a mexican riviera cruise. :]

You might be going on a European cruise. That would be awesome! On cruises you stop at ports and get to go sightseeing all day. And you do need formal dresses...:P
