I stare at the bloody broken mirror
Gazing at my reflection As my tears slide down my skin. There's nothing here for me now I'm living a total lie The truth of it is I'm beautifully broken. The whole time that I was around everyone else I put up a mask. I never let anyone get close to me. I don't regret that. Now as my mask is finally cracking, I wonder to myself, Am I actually myself? Or have I changed too much? No, the real answer is that I'm broken beyond repair. |

i like the obvious theme and language of it.
but "beautifully broken" kind of seems ... cliche? like something you'd hear in a song, you know? |
