Hi
yeah so a couple days ago i had this virus. dont gasp. its okay, its gone now. i killed it. its dead. damn you tinysblackadventures.com BUT there's a problem, this virus was a bitch. since i had it, i couldnt use aim, windows media player, quicktime,flash player, and even the images on google wouldnt show up. and that was along with the slow internet connection, and "free sex" popups. so, i got all this anti virus stuff, i got anti-spyware,anti-hack,popup blockers, you name it, i had a frickin army of anti-ware. that virus was gonna die. oh! i even got this one thing, were they give you this little dog, and his name is scotty, and he "sniffs" out viruses! and, and when he finds something its like "little scotty was on patrol and found....a trojan worm.1v334!" it was so cute! oh, but yeah *ahem* i got rid of the virus. so my internet connection was okay again, and the popups were gone. BUT, i still couldnt use my media, or aim. i even downloaded a new aim and it still says "ERROR". and when i try to get into windows media player its like, "internal error has occured". i was indeed puzzled. at first i was like, "oh, psh. silly me, java script is off" so i checked it. BUT, it says it was on.  i cant even use the smilies anymore! i have to type them in! so here i am now, begging you all. begging. for your assistance. well...not really "begging" but politely asking, cause begging seems kinda creepy ya'know? dont go on tinysblackadventures.com. |

oo....*shivers* i feel your pain.
damn you, smiley central. i have the same problem. i got rid of a buttload of viruses on my old computer, but it's still screwed. i'm probably going to reload my OS. try that. |

Lol I had to use a system restore on my computer when It kept resetting by itself, you might have to do the same. You should also download
Ad-Aware SE Personal and Ewido Security Suite and go from there.

mcafee is awesome. if you're lucky and have comcast, you have it free.
but if you don't, then you could buy it or use ad-aware SE personal like KC said. |

ok, get all your important files and save them. scan that folder to make sure there's no viruses. save to disc. then clear out comp. do you have a cd from when you first got the computer? it's a backup disc, i think. some stuff like that. maybe they talk about it in the manual.

omg. KEVIN, i got rid of the pop ups, the slow internet connection and everything. infact everything would be perfect if my media/aim was working. thats what i need to work.

Some Computers requires disks for system restore, for mine when you restart you have to keep pressing F10, until the system restore screen comes up and gives you instructions as to what you would like to do.  But your computer might be different.

well....do that. ALL remnants. like go to C:\Program Files\AIM or whatever and delete allll that. then try downloading it again.
