I'm thinking about dying my hair...
Right now I have dark brown hair, green eyes, and pale skin.
I was thinking about something like this.

Would it look good? If you think another color would look better, do tell.

Man, my parents are going to be surprised when I come home with new hair...

it would make your face glow.

I say go for it. Maybe that's because it comes from someone who's dyed their hair multitudes of colors all the time. But it's always fun to try something new. And, of course, if you're not too sure, you should try using non-permanent dye first to see what it turns out like, so if you don't like it, it'll wash out in a week or two.

Truuuuuu dat. And then it fades into a yucky orange. So it might get dull quick, but if you're planning on touching it up often and putting lots of work into it, then go ahead

It looks cute, sure, but I remember about two years back I had a red phase. I dyed it almost that exact color but within two weeks it was WAYYY lighter and all shiney. I liked it and stuff but now it is there permanantly. My natural hair color is brown and even though I have dyed my hair a few times since the red it never quite went back. I dyed my hair black about a month ago and now the tips are fading into red! WTF.

The way you described it, kinda reminds me of that singer from Paramore. I think her names Haley? Hmm if its anything like that, i'd say go for it.

If your hair is dark brown and you want that light red color, you will have to bleach it first. You should probably get the bleach done professionally because there are a lot of ways to mess that up, especially if it's your first time.

Red hair dye tends to fade FAST so be prepared for that, and that your hair will now be a bit drier and more brittle, so you'll have to take special care of it. It's recommended to get purple colored shampoo to help slow down the fading, but it's guaranteed to happen within a couple of weeks or so.

Good luck, and I hope it turns out nice.
