uhh..i go to the salon. its about 10-ish dollars and it doesnt really hurt. your eyebrow area will probably get red and sore for a few hours, though.

I go to Hair Cuttery.. I go around the same time that I would go to get my hair cut, so I get my eyebrows waxed first, then they would cut my hair... and by the time they're done with my haircut the redness is gone. Since it would be your first time.. it will probably be sore and red. They usually put aloe on it or you can put ice on it at home. It does look nice if they do it right. There are also nail places you can get your eyebrows done at.

DO IT!
It's the best $10 bucks I ever spent! It'll be a little uncomfortable at first. But after a few more visits...and the beautiful outcome...it's worth the little pain for beauty. |

i just got mine waxed yesterday. as most people have sad, it doesn't hurt that much. and surprisingly, my eyebrows didn't get sore and red.
i got mine done at a Bubbles Salon and it was only 15 bucks, and you get a free compact. and they did a pretty good job too. especially because i'm lazy and i hate doing my own eyebrows. |

I get them done when I get a facial. It might the hurt the first couple times, but you get used to it after that. It's much faster and easier than plucking, so it's definitely worth it.

i'm *addicted* to getting my eyebrows waxed.
i get them done at least every 6-8 weeks. for me, eyebrow waxing doesn't hurt at all... it just makes my eyes water. it's sooo worth it and it feels so clean afterwards! mine do end up being a bit red after, but it goes away if you use some acne cream that you can buy at a salon (it's called stilligel). |

Oh God. I've had mine done once or twice at a salon... and i'll never do it again.
They always make my eyebrows too thin, or shape them wrong. |

I got mine done a few weeks ago and loved it! It wasn't as painful as I had anticipated and it was only ten dollars. It took maybe 5 minutes and lasted for a while.

I got mine first done when I was like 13 or something, and the first time, I thought it hurt like hell. And I really didn't want to go back, but then when I saw that they looked good, I figured, screw it. And now, I'm used to it, and I just flinch whenever I get them done.

Yes I've done it. My Mom did though. I don't trust other people with my eyebrows. Yeah, it does hurt a little. The area where you got it waxed will turn red for a couple of mins. Like 30.

I first [and only] got mine done when I was 12.
I was visiting NYC, and we stopped into that huge expansive make-up store Sephora [oh my, it was Heaven, and it took a pretty penny away from me.] And in there they had a part of the store called "Anastasia Beverley Hills", which was this whole huge saloon dedicated to waxing eyebrows. And my mom dared me to try it. It costed $30 [Way to much to spend...but worth it.] and it was really cool cause they explained what they were doing, and some tips. They did it so good the first time, I was able to maintain them myself [with plucking.]. =] Goodluckkk. |

if you have hella thick eyebrows, do wax.
otherwise, if theyre thin, go for threading or just pluck them. threadings basically the same as plucking only way faster i hate wax because 1) my eyebrows arent even bushy enough to need it 2) it makes your eyebrow area all red and funnylooking after 3) i dunno. theres no 3. |

I loved getting my eyebrows waxed. The lady who does them for me plucks the hairs she misses and even trims it so that they look pretty. ^-^
At first, it'll hurt and it'll be pinkish. They first time I did it was in 6th grade[dunno what my mom was thinnking] and people thought I was wearing make-up lol But after a few more waxes, it won't hurt much. And I say, when the hair starts to grow back. Try to pluck it. And then if your eyebrows grow back too much, get another wax. I go once a month. |

It's not too painful. I've only done it once, though, and I didn't really like it. And yeah it gets all red and stuff the first time you do it. I had like, bumps around that area for a few days.
