at school, there was this one girl who always used my pencils. she asked me every day. i'm a nice person :) so i let her use them.
:( big mistake. when i got it back, it was gnawed on and bent. for some reason that really ticked me off even though it was just a pencil. so has that happened to you? do people borrow your things and totally mess them up? |

I hate it when people ask to borrow my things and they return it in a lesser condition!
It's like a pet-peeve of mine. If you do something like that with me, it's a very minimal chance that I'd let you borrow something of mine again. It gives me the impression that you can't care for your own or the belongings of otheres. |

I remember I lent my cousin my Rainbow Princess Barbie doll 7 years ago... when she returned it (one month later), her once beautiful, golden, silky hair was chopped off, frizzy, and gray! And her dress had barbeque sauce on it <_< and her foot was bitten off

omg, yeah. once i let this guy lexy borrow my pencil and at the end of science.. i forgot to get it back. then the next day in my math class i see this guy scott with the same pencil chewing on it. so i dropped my pencil and went near his desk and said "did you get that pencil from ms.p's room" and hes all like no lexy gave it to me and i'm like wtf thats mine. psh he never gave it back, not that i wanted it back since he was chewing on it. but i spent like 6.56$ on that penicl.  |

lol Krista, well you see... I do the same thing in class... this kid had a fancy gell pen he wasn't using and I asked if I could borrow it and I started chewing on the cap, pretending I did it without really scheming or anything and he was like, "keep it!"

i always lent someone my homework, she would ask everyday. it pisses me off soo f**king much. and it's like, you have a study hall. and im always dumb so i dont know what she is thinking lol, so the same girl, i lent her all my arts and crafts stuff and she said, 'i'll give them back to you the last day of school!"..well there was no last day of school and i want my f**king stuff back. i hate lending things to people i hate. i hope i never have a class with her again. |

Oh, I totally understand. I'm extremely possessive, but I also like being nice, so I always end up lending things to people.
I'm especially obsessive about books. When I lend books to people, I expect them to end up in EXACTLY THE SAME SHAPE when I gave it to them, if not better. There are only a few people I can trust with my books, because I've had WAY too many grape juice and torn cover incidents. My bitch of a friend (correction, ex-friend), lost my favourite pencil because someone "stole" her pencil bag and all she could say to me was "I'm soo sorry" like a million times over. I appreciate your apology, but damn, that is NOT going to get my pencil back. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE LOSE MY STUFF AND DON'T INTEND TO REPLACE IT. A while ago I lost like 5 erasers because people felt the need to not bring supplies to class. Sorry for the rant. |

Once I let this guy next to me borrow my pen and while my science teacher had his back turned he stuck the pen up his nose and pulled a booger out. After I told him to keep it and I think he kept it. It was my prettiest pen too. |

Yea I really hate that but i have to admit that I tend to damage stuff too -my own stuff and everybody elses. Im really clumsy and messy so i tend to chew on things or hold things too tight and break em ahh but Recently ive just been messing up my own ShxT

I once lent this 2nd grader my library book for some report she was doing. She never returned it to me, so I had to go to the library and tell them the story. When I told them, the lady at the desk pulled up this awfully trashed book and said "oh, you mean this one? that girl told me it was yours. You owe us $16.99 for this".

I let my friend borrow this cd one time and when he gave it back to me the cd was all scratched up and the inside of the case was broken lol. But yeah, that kinda stuff is annoying as hell.
