This summer I was supposed to go back to the Philippines but it was unfortunately cancelled a month and a half ago. Now all I'm doing is waiting for the mail for more birthday money from really late Filipino relatives and a mail from school about my registration....

totally lame. Now I'm listening to songs I don't understand (Vietnamese songs)

It's just weird because I was looking forward to this all school year last year.. and all is ruined.

Shit Dani, that's a total-miss out. Mothers love to give shopping sprees during the summer.

^That's true, but the family I'm living with spends way more money on me than she did/could. pinch.gif I just miss her and my brother, I don't get to see them much anymore.

Your suffering now will only make the experience even greater later. So yeah you got a lifetime to have fun.

You guys I feel bad and all about the trip but I was just gonna ask if any of you have a story to tell that relates to it. Like Dani D: and Tina D: .. I didn't mean to wallow in grief!

//edit

Sarah wow D: long time.. it seems everyone moved to the US when they were 11 or something lol

I don't usually have mail to wait for, but when I do, it sure does keep you expecting something to happen.

I haven't gone to the Philippines in a very long time either.

Well, I never lived in the Philippines or anything, but every year my family and I would vist my relatives every Christmas and New Year's.

But since a few things happened, we just haven't gone I guess. ermm.gif

I know, but we're a community that cares! group.gif Hmm I guess I was really really disappointed we didn't gather enough money this year to go to California. I miss our relatives out there so bad. My mom has NINE freaking sisters and they all live on the other side of the country. The last time we saw them was six years ago. pinch.gif
