Well This guy likes me.&& i mean i like him too. Hes really sweet. He gives me Choclate for no reason. He gets people to send me Flowers when im in class im mean hes a total sweet heart. But wow when he around his Friends HEs a total JACKASS. I was hanging out with him and his ""Crew"" and he was like making compliments on my ass and stuff? im mean he like not the same guy when hes around his friends.
well just this minute he asked me out. and i told him i will think a bout it. && hes like kay. Help! |

haha, quite funny. But I know what you mean, it seems guys just can't be themselves around everyone. But no one can I think. People act differently around different people. Hes going to act sensitive towards you because he likes you and cares about you. Hes going to act what ever way his friends act and expect him to act.
Although if you don't like it and you find it completely repulsive. Then tell him that you don't like how he treats you infront of his friends and explain why. And since your not in a relationship with him tell him that he may could work on it before you guys get in a relationship. Don't change him and make him not act himself all together though. Don't double post dear, just be patient. Someone will come and help |

[edit] There's two sides to every story. 01. Go for it. I know it sounds shallow, but you could give it a test run. What's the worst that can happen - continued criticism of your figure in front of friends? If he keeps acting like a dick, you could always just break it off... or even use the relationship as collateral (as Confession has suggested). 02. Chances are "the right person" you're looking for will have a flaw or two - that's a given. You will have to cope/make sacrafices on a few things (some bigger than others). However; I personally wouldn't be content with an intimate relationship withsomeone if hanging out with said person on their friends was simply akward or unpleasant. Friends last a long time... usually more than a date. It all depends on how badly you want this guy, I suppose. |

Yea, I never asked how old you are. But if your like 13 or so, your going to go through plenty of learning relationships before finding the "one".
So you can go for it and have a learning relaitonship because your going to need those before you can figure out what you really want out of someone to marry some day. |

dont mess w/ 'lil boys' like him.. if hes gonna act like a dumbass just move on... he needs to man up and stop tryna impress his 'boys' [you know all hes doing is tryna get attention when he does that w/ his friends] so either tell him to his face to get his act together or leave it alone to let him keep on running after you [w/ all the flowers & chocolates]

Yeah, on top of all of that... you can tell him what you think
 "Look I think you're really nice, but when youare with your friends... you are a total jackass..." Keep in mind that if you do this he probably won't change, but he will realize why you don't go out with him... if you don't. |

hmm.. such a "typical guy" if you know what i mean. well to me, i think he's probably not worth your time. because sooner or later, he'll start to side with his friends and he'll eventually pick them over you. remember..... before getting into a relationship with him, tell him how you feel about him acting like what he does around his friends. give him some time, see if he changes his ways, if not then don't even think about getting together with him

Guys are not the same when they hang out with their friends. My guy friends act like total assholes most times when we all hang out, but when it's only me and a guy, he's totally different. It doesn't mean he's bad.

you really need to talk to him and tell him how you feel if hes going to act like a jackass in front of his friends then tell him your guys realtionship wont work. i mean he has to respect you in front of his friends he cant jus walk all over you just to seem "cool"
but to tell you the truth guys are always diffrent when they are with their friends. |
