Porn is blocked at my school. Really it is . Whenever students try getting into porn sites, they can't. Although at the other school (our school is divided into two because they're so many students), it isn't blocked but people always get caught.

This sucks rocks.

hmm. at our school, google image search is banned, because people searched for porn. of course, the firewall is not impressive, and therefore easy to skirt, but still.

Ugh ours too! They blocked Yahoo! Sports under "Suspicious". WTF?! Must have been the drug talk that made it suspicious.

In my school, nobody knows about xanga, Lj, blogger, cB because it's a french school. When we go to the other building, my classmates downloaded a pornographic CD and watch it. I've seen erections, hell one of the boys masturbated.
The teacher didn't notice!

Lmao! It's not a porn site. It's like a 'pass' site. If cB/xanga/whatever is blocked on your computer, you can enter through that site.

vtunnel doesn't have to do with porn. it's just there to help you bypass sites that are blocked.

At my school, well my old school basically like every site is blocked. Like If someone tried to go on myspace, it be blocked. But createblogs not blocks. =D

We got some secret site that my year know about it's called polysolve.com and it lets you go on any blocked 'maths' sites you want.

So we can myspace.com or whatever.

So it's the best thing since sliced bread .. to us.

Oh yeah, there are these sites where you can bypass the system. it's like URl generators. so you can go to these "URL generators" and type your site you wish you enter and it will actually let you through it. But, later the school's administrator finds out and blocks it.

I'd assume porn is blocked on my high school's computers. I know Gmail was blocked for some reason. It was really annoying actually. But createBlog and Google Images still worked.

Once you block something though, some people get curious and want to find a loophole in the system so it doesn't help much.

None of the email sites are blocked at my school, because they're constantly telling us to email our work to ourselves. It's fortunate, because I don't have a floppy drive, and I can't seem to find the USB posts on the school computers. Or I just never looked for them. I don't remember which.

And I've never looked for actual porn..:blink:Xanga's blocked, but I know how to get around it. Myspace probably is, but I haven't tried. All game sites are blocked.

CB isn't, and thus we really need to get the arcade back. I can't keep joining random forums just to play Tetris. (Although one time my entire language arts class wound up joining here to play games, and that wasn't so good.)

Google is blocked in my school because people would type words like "boobs" or "porn" in Google Images.
Just like many other schools, xanga/myspace etc. are all blocked.

nothing is blocked at my school since some of the teachers don't have computers and use that to check their email and stuff rolleyes.gif i go to a christian school so they trust us not to look at innappropriate things. they shouldn't trust some of my friends though... whistling.gif

I remember back in High School before I got a job, I made my way by selling porn to my fellow classmates. Since the guys at school don't really know how to get internet porn, it gave me the advantage, I download, burn and sell them for $20 each CD.

At school they have blocked Google, Yahoo, MySpace, Tag World, MSN, CreateBlog (Yes.), All sites that use the directory /forum/, Ask.com, THE MICROSFT WEBSITE!, Xanga, MY WEBSITE (Ragnarok Battle Offline), The IHSA Website, TotalBF2.com, Hitherston, Seizure, and a hell of alot more. If you get caught on these sites you get Saturday school or suspended, than god for PageWash which is known SCHOOL WIDE thinks to my Second house when I came across it.
