alright, so i check out the book, right (polaris, by jack mcdevitt), and i open it up, and tucked in the flap of the dust cover (book jacket), are all these anime drawings. (yes i know, i just say it to piss off anime diehards. no, i refuse to say mango, or whatever it is you thinjk i should say.) yea. so i decide to add my own art to the collection, but as i can't draw, i decided to put in a poem.

yea. jacket art. tis cool. do it to some books at your local library. confuse the adults. maybe they'll be an article int he NY times where a confused adult says how confused they are about jacket art.

I should stick my trash in there too. Gum wrappers....never know where to put them when there's no trashcan around.

Sounds like fun. Makes you wonder who wrote what, who had the book before you.

I'm the type that responds to stuff people write on it.
I'm also the type that recommends pages to read.

haha yeah I do that to my school books sometimes. They're like.. ancient so they have a lot of artwork in them

that reminds me when I used to write back and forth on this desk in my history class with someone from a different period. Never found out who they were though.
