hmmm why are asians so smart ???? !
 is it just or me or why do i always seem to believe that im smarter then a 23 yr old ?  i just swam in my pool late at night with our rent holders and a couple of his peeps amd gf downstairs ....and we`ve ended up talking about the lamest conversations ever ...even me & my boyz talk a bit something more in depth ....but its cool though i guess .....and swimming in the middle of the night around 2-4 am was FUN

We aren't. Typically, asian parents push their kids harder because they know since they are a minority, they must be always a step ahead. But, as generations grow and grow, the less fob, the more "average" the grades. Of course by saying this, I am further sterotyping so ill just end it with the, "No we aren't."
Btw, Im a good driver.

they even babble about being in whatever country they were in and having to walk a few miles to get to school.. I know that it's a stereotype but it's true. My mom does it all the time. |

Asians are naturally normal like everyone else.
Their parents push them harder, as many of them are new immigrants and want their kids to be well off in life. The newer the immigrants, the smarter they want their children to be. However. There are some really stupid asian kids too. I have yet to see a median between the two. I've seen very smart asians, and very stupid asians. |

Btw, Im a good driver. stereotypes would be okay in this forum i think, considering we're talking about a stereotype? its true about the parents that push. i'm filipino and my parents are super hard on my grades. i don't really get punished for getting bad ones though. i just don't get anything if i get good ones. it's expected from me. i.e. my friends get money if they do well in school. anywhere from $20 to $100 per A on the report card. i get a good job! from my mom and my dad doesn't even say anything. granted, many of them never do get the A, but its the principle of it. |

if you go back to asia, the kids there are a lot smarter/hard working in school than the american kids here. my goodness, korean and chinese schools are insane. i'm not 100% why, but asians pretty much value education a lot more.
