Agh, I didn't know whether I should have started this topic or brought back an old topic about hair.

I want to dye my hair, badly. Im chinese, but my hair isn't pitch black to begin with. It's like dark brown in the sun, but it's been like this for 2 years, and I want a change.

Eh, It looks black in this picture. I don't think it looks half bad, but still, any suggestions on what colour I should dye it? I've been thinking about getting dark red highlights. Does it fit?
Or any other colour suggestions. =)

That's what color my hair was. The first time I ever colored my hair I got dark red streaks. They were super spiffy. I say go for it.

Red streaks are great but they don't last long. I got them for a while and just watched the red flow down the drain. *sob*

Maybe a copper, like Jeng suggested? Nothing too drastic, though; I've always thought that blonde streaks are terribly overwhelming and unflattering.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, I don't want them to fade away really quickly. Yet i dont want bright red streaks><

Why are all these hair coloring topics in Fashion? I know about 2 guys that actually color their hair. These should be in Girls' Locker.

I have a friend who is Korean, and she had dark dark brown hair, almost black.
Well, she dyed it this certain kind of black or something, s'just that when the sun shone on it, it'd have a hint of dark blue where the light hit it and it looked really cool. _smile.gif
