Okay I just looked through all the topics about tampons and Toxic Shock Syndrome and none of them (well none that I could find) have to do with this...
You shouldn't leave a tampon in for over 8 hours, but is it okay to wear one four hours, change it, and wear another one for four hours? I think this question sounds pretty stupid but uh.. 'Cause I think TSS happens when the old tampon leaves behind lint and shit, and tampons only do that if you leave it in for a long time, but I just wanna be sure. :P |

tss happens when you dont use the tampon completely and leave it in for more than 8 hours. tahts why you need to choose the absorbency that fits your period. and yes, its perfectly fine to leave it in for 4 hours, take it out and do it again. thats how youre suppose to wear tampons. put one in, use it, take it out, and put another one in.
