I don't know what to think about this. He isn't someone who uses a lot of computer graphics in film. I do believe his theory on suspence would be more off camera than on. What do you think?

I personally think Night is a genius.

But He would need to use a lot of CG for HP:HBP.

i haven't seen any of the movies he's directed, so i don't know whether he would do a good job on it or not. although, lady in the water looks interesting.

Oh are you for real?

I am NOT a fan of M. Night Shyamalan. The Village was a disaster. Lady in the Water looks dumb.

No way. NO WAY, I want Chris Columbus.

HEAR HEAR! Sixth Sense and Signs were alright, but Shyamalan doesn't have the experience or dare I say, talent, for something as crucial to the series as HPB. It's the darkest book yet. I want Chris Columbus too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Chris Columbus is a bit wimpy. I think someone with a darker point of view, as the books do get darker as they go along, is essential to getting the mood of the movie equal to that of the book. Agree with Kristina, M. Night would be a good choice. There is a lot of action in the books, but there's a good degree of psychological...stuff that he would convey wonderfully.
