heeeck no, I was happy to be leaving... hs was
a pain in the ass for me, socialwise.... had a tough
time getting along with the asian brigade, but that's
a whole 'nother story.... haha, yea... well...
and I've been the type to always plan ahead,
I always hoped for the future actually....
and as for payments... you'll get through, seriously
I feel so blessed cuz the school's paying for my classes
and books and parking permits, living expenses,
yea.... all I can say is... just breathe-- it helps.
And I hope you feel better. Cheer up

iono about you.. but my highschool required gym to graduate.. and i cut hellla lot.. .. so .. uh.. if you do the same... uh. .make sure you are friends with the gym teacher... or .. maybe your school doesnt even require it. happy.gif .. o yeah and pass all the other classes too. lol

the fees do add up .. personally i wish i hadn't walked.. i woudla been happy just picking up my diploma or having it mailed to me.. my speakers were horribly boring.. my principal spoke out of his arse-- my parents didnt even get a clear picture of me... _dry.gif

ah well.. college graduation will be that much sweeter. lol

i was happy to graduate. though i wish i wasn't so lazy in highschool, i could of worked harder to get a scholarship. i didn't go to to my cermony, i skipped it. so far no regrets about that. i guess all that mattered to me was the diploma, not about walking. i just wanted to put highschool behind me.

Oh God, High School Graduation.

Let me start off by saying that, even though I was happy to graduate, I was shaking when I was on the field...it's leaving your comfort zone and erything changing. I was a wreck, I was sad to leave my friends, and scared to live by myself...and I can remember just sitting there with tears falling down my face...I went and got my diploma...and I gave my principal a hug...I was just so upset, you have no idea. Weeks after I would sit in front of my HS and look at it...I was just like, damn that went by quick.

My sister is a JR in HS...and worried about the same things. #1, start taking SAT classes if you havent already and if you want to, and TRY to take your SATs in May so that way when you apply to colleges...you'll get the answers back quicker. As for paying for college...student loans and a job will help you. Make a deal with your parents...you give a certain amount of money and they'll match it. (you give 1,000...they'll give 1,000 sorta deal) If you dont have a job right now, look to get one...because you need the money for books, and all the other essensials.

As for college planning...
* http://www.50states.com - will definitely help. Click on a state and then click on Colleges and Universities. They have as many colleges as the state has...and then go check out the schools websites and prerequisites...or what you need to get in. Private colleges..if you're not into the whole big campus scene and a better learning experience so your not in a class with 200 people, literally. I private college would be like, Centenary College in NJ...no other state has it, and it's not divided up like University of California...they have Davis, Santa Barbara, San Diego...you get the picture.

If you need help...I'm here.

All I can say is live it up while you can. You have one more year before you make the big change to college. I didn't find planning for it too bad....just a lot of choices. But many people don't even know what they wanna do 'till their Sophmore year of college. So don't sweat it. Graduation comes with mixed emotions... College is a whole 'nother word, but it's definitly fun too! thumbsup.gif

from looking at my friend's expression and their xanga entry... some werent scared...they went wild saying I CANT WAIT TO GO TO COLLEGE. PUHAHA NO MORE HIGH SCHOOL MWAHAHAHA.

yeah like that. but you know... it depends on someone's feeling... not everyone has the same opinion. some people are scared because they dont know what they are gona do after high school...because they didnt plan anything. if you're one of them, i think you'll be scared for sure.
