I am curious as to how to create the technique of lines running through an image. I know that it's created with Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, I just don't know how to pull off the technique. If anyone knows how, can you please tell me, or if anyone knows of a tutorial on here that shows you how, please direct me to it. Thanks!

This isn't the right area, but there is a much easier way than posted above.

Make a new image, 10x10 px, background transparent. Click the pencil tool and make sure it is set on 1px. Draw diagonal lines. Then go to edit-->define pattern. Name it whatever you like.

Now go to the image you want the pattern on. Layer-->New Fill Layer-->Pattern. Select your pattern then change the blend mode to overlay. Mess around with the opacity as needed.
