Solar Dreams;;, What do you think of the layout Options

Ok, well this is my first time making a website with out the help of dreamweaver. I used CSS and for some reason this layout doesnt exactly appear for all IE browsers..it does for me but a few friends say it works in Firefox and not in IE

Anyways...enough of my jibber jabber

When I opened it in IE, all I got was a white screen and it didn't load at all, but when I opened it in firefox, I got this....



It's a little misaligned and the footer at the bottom sticks out because it's so wide compared to the rest of the content, but overall, I like it.

Thanks for catching the footer, i changed all the sizes when i adjusted the content to be a bit thinner and i forgot to adjust the footer. *palmhead*

As for the IE issue, it was working fine about two hours ago...some how i must have coded something into it thats not compatible with IE as of yet.

EDIT: Now it works in IE...it was the most stupid thing of all errors...i forgot to close the Title code at the very top.

about the alignment... is it supposed to be that far to the left? it's kind of bothering me because it's not lined up with the header image

Thanks! You should ahve seen the background before i editted it. It was so bright and harsh...

As for the alignment i am working on it. Not exactly sure whats misaligned i mean the header is sticking out but i am making a newone in a bit (again)

I like it, and if you don't mind me saying, you don't need dreamweaver to make your sites. You'll be a better webmaster because of it, though I admit dreamweaver does make a lot of things easier. btw it worked it both fireworks and IE for me, maybe some people are missing the necessary plugins needed to view it in IE.

Thanks! i used to be terrible at designing a website with out dreamweaver because i just couldn't focus maybe cause i was 13 when i first tried?

Anyhow, it didnt work in IE until i fixed the problem which was very silly indeed hehe.

The background color and patterns's widths should at least correspond to the width of the sidebar and content.

Overall, it's a bit too much. The checkers are distracting.
