you know what is really lame and stupid? people with close to 2000 posts or more calling people with 12 posts noobs. that's the saddest shit i have ever heard. just because you have 12 posts doesnt mean ur a noob or that ur not as good a person as a person with 2000 posts. u know what im saying? that's f**king sad. by the way, people with 2000 posts probably spend all their time on this site anyways because they are loners in real life. lol. not all of them, but the idiots who call other people noobs is just f**king sad.

i also hate the term "noob bashing". wtf is that? since this forum is based on relationships and personal experience and people and whatever, how can u make distinctions about how new a person is to this forum.

oh, how the hel can u be a "noob" in an online forum. usually in video games, a noob is a person who most likely sucks at the game or they have very few experience or whatever. but in an online forum a noob is a person with 12 posts? doesnt make much sense. a person with 12 posts could be more experience in LIFE and the real world then the person with 2000 posts.

oh btw im not one of these "noobs". my other account has close to 700 posts, but i only average less than 1 post a day, so im not one of those people who spend all their time on here lol. and i wish i didnt have taht many posts cuz that would be calling myself a loser. lol.

very interesting subject. tell me if i make sense lol.

You make some pretty bold statements. A "noob" is just someone who is new to something. If they have 12 posts, and no other accounts known about, then yes they're a noob. Everyone is/was a noob at one point. Or a noob is just someone who sucks at a game, like you said.

And just because we have a lot of posts doesn't mean we spend all of our time on here. We've just been here awhile and all the posts have added up.



Oh, and you make no sense. TO me, at least.

Just the dumb new people who continiously don't follow the rules like double posting, making duplicate topics, and posting topics in the wrong sections. Because most likely they're not so familiar with how things should go 'round here or any other forum.

Well... sometimes people get called a "noob" for a reason. It's not a totally bad thing. And not everyone gets called a noob; I have very few posts on cB, but I haven't been called a noob (at least not to my knowledge, haha). Almost all of the members probably don't know who I am. Honestly, the only people who I might call a noob are the ones who spam a lot, make useless posts/topics, or uses atrocious typing. And, I have 6,000+ posts on another forum site (which is not a lot; I know a few people who have 30,000+ posts). That also does not mean that I do not have a life. I do, however, enjoy posting on forums, so I do.

It is not just CreatBlog. It is everywhere, on any Internet forum. The term ''n00b'' is not meant to offend. The term is meant to simply describe someone who is new to something such as a message board, a game, whathaveyou. Thus, ''newbie''. ''n00b'' is a shorter form of ''newbie''. Some people tend to go over-board with the phrase, and they tend to make it offensive.

the thing is, if you look, we post something about someone's performance and then all the mods come in and are like "i think they are doing a super job and what you say doesnt matter" or they jump to conclusions and defend one another or themselves rather than actually taking it in and thinking that what the person has to say could actually be true. that's not the exact wording, but that is what we get, hence why no one bothers to post in there. it also doesnt seem to help much because whoever is stated still acts the same.
