Okay so I bought this henna stuff from Hot Topic (It's called Shweta Henna Paste) and it's black. Alright so I made the symbol for love in chinese on my wrist and now after doing some research I am totally freaked out. It says black henna can cause blisters and all that jazz and it can even kill you because it has this PPD stuff in it.

Anyone else heard of this? And what should I do... I already have it on there.

Well, it's already on there so not much you can do. I doubt Hot Topic henna will kill you, so keep calm and check the labels for any warnings or advice on how to remove it if you really are worried.

I always knew hot topic was the social equivalent to lucifer.

Don't worry about it, I very highly doubt anything will happen.. Unless you are known to have tons of allergies to things... Then I'd do some more research.

Yeah I'm not allergic to anything (that I know of) so... hooray.

Damn Hot Topic spending 6 freaking dollars on stuff that could harm me.

It probably wouldn't kill you or give blisters or anything, but it might irritate your skin a tad. I've wanted to get a henna for a while now... how long are the ones from Hot Topic supposed to last?

I doubt anything will happen. Like Melissa said, it might cause irritating skin.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll live. If you don't, then your family can sue. It's a win win situation.

Seriously though, like people have said, I don't think Hot Topic would sell you something that can kill you (when used properly). I wouldn't really worry about it if I were you.

My mom used black henna on her hair.. so it's a bit like dye. I doubt it would kill you but I personally wouldn't use it on skin. Use regular henna, it's extremely harmless.

Henna won't kill you. It takes a couple of weeks or so, tops, for it to come off.

You'll be fine. Chillax.

i don't think anything will happen to you.
but not to freak you out, i've heard that black henna might leave a mark after it fades away. like you can still see a little of the pattern

but don't listen to me
