Because a lot of my friends find it very boring.
A teacher even told me that it's more of a boys book but I liked it and didn't find it boring..... I also read the cliff notes too so I don't know if that really made a difference. If you've read it did you like it? |

It was decent. It didn't catch my attention at the beginning, but it was nontheless interesting at the end.

I remember the book having a HUGE impact on me, but I forgot why. ;__; The story still had some events that were pretty meaningful, though. |

It's definitely not one of my favorite books, but I did enjoy reading it. It was also one of the easiest books I've had to analyzed.

I liked it, too. I know a lot of people who didn't like it either. Piggy was my favourite as well!

Boring, I thought. It wasn't a bad book though. My girlfriend loved it, haha.

Ehh, I struggled through it. It never caught my attention. I thought maybe it was because of the entire jungle motif and, well, I'm not fond of the jungle. Then I discovered Conrad's Heart of Darkness and proved myself wrong because that was a good book/novella.
