So, another Horror movie with scary kid. Something satanic I believe.
Even though the whole scary kid thing is kinda old, still want to see it pretty badly. They incorporated the release date with the movie too. 06/06/06

QUOTE
The prophecy is clear, the signs unmistakable: Armageddon is upon us. On 6 / 6 / 06, the omen is revealed...and our darkest fears are realized. "The Omen," a contemporary thriller based on the 1976 classic film, centers around a young boy named Damien, the son of an American diplomat and his wife. Damien's family is unaware he is destined to become the Anti-Christ – until shattering events reveal the terrifying truth.

Uhm...yeah, but you realize this is a remake? And thus, it's not just "another Horror movie with scary kid," considering it's probably the first.

Hm. All the Omens before this were good. Maybe not all, but all the ones I saw. Was Gregory Peck in one? iunno. whatev. I'm not going to see this is what I'm getting at.

edit:
yeaaaah. Gregory Peck was in one. That's the one I like.

the newest preview i saw of it
reminds me of the original
I will probably see the new one and like the original better.
That seems to happen a lot.

Anyway ever seen the original
I never liked the kid in it...

i'll probably see it wednesday. it looks interesting, and even though i am a christian, others give me a hecklin' about wanting to see it.
i just told them that i enjoy horror movies often, and they responded with something like, "emo fool" or "scary kid."

is it even fair to say that EMO goes hand-in-hand with HORROR movies?
it doesn't make sense.

kara, this part?

if so, i think its just because of the floor design and how it looks 3-d or w/e.

I'll see it.... when it hits DVD. As campy as the original film was, I love it. I also love that Mia Farrow is in this version. She's way creepy to me.

I heard it was based on a true story. Is that true? My friend has tickets from some newspaper for today (monday) but I find it to be more satisfying to watch it tomorrow.

Who said there was only one shot in the movie that looked fake? There is one shot in the TRAILER, which is like 3-4minutes long... so throughout the whole movie there could be alot more. laugh.gif (Im messing btw.)

this movie reminded me of final destination somehow,...
like when they take pictures and when they upload them, you see those white marks on peoples body nd they turn out do die like that,.. or whatever.
iono, it wasn't that scary.. it kinda bored me -,-

It wasn't scary but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The death scenes/imagery/visuals and dream sequences were EXCELLENT. My biggest complaint however was that Damien sucked... they couldn't find a creepy kid to cast?
