I usually use a pencil eyeliner, but I decided to try Maybelline's Unstoppable eyeliner. It says according to the description that it is self sharpening. I feel a bit stupid because when I first tried putting it on, a chunk of the top literally fell off and it left me with this square top. I have no clue how to fix this. I was thinking of sharpening it with a regular pencil eyeliner sharpener, but I'm afraid I'll damage it. Any help, please? I tried searching, but I couldn't find any topics on this.

It's the twist up kind. I guess your right, but I was hoping I could make really fine lines with this kind of eyeliner.

You could try and warm it up by rolling it on your hands a little bit, and then try shaping it to make a point with your fingers.

I use a lighter to melt the tip a little. I like the effect that it has. I can't describe it but it's gets really soft.

Twist up a bit. Use your fingers to shape it by spinning it around with one hand. The heat and moisture in your fingers will start to make the eyeliner softer. If that doesn't work, I say use the sharpner, but be very careful. |

Doesn't Unstoppable come with a sharpener on the other end of it? Well, anyways...I agree with Jennasaur, try using heat to melt the tip a little and then shape the tip. You could also get a new liner, I'd recommend CoverGirl. I forgot the exact name of it, but its grey with a silver ring around the middle and a black tip thing.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll try warming the tip and no, it doesn't come with a sharpener. I think that's the loreal kind.

this has happened to me lots of times. one time i was an idiot and banged the tip against the mirror and got a flat tip lol. well anyways. since you have a flat tip gently shape it with your fingers. it probably wont come out the same as when you first got it but it should still be good enough to use again
