Okay. So I'm a fan of Dateline NBC, 48 Hours, Court TV, and all those shows where mysterious crimes happen. Only problem is that I always watch them at NIGHT.

Now I don't know about you guys, but I'm not scared easily, except after watching these types of shows. What runs through my mind is like:
"Oh my god, what if some serial killer pops up in front of my window at night and breaks in, and kills my whole family!"

Pretty unrealistic, no? But hell, it happens, so I close & lock my windows at night.

So, are you guys ever really paranoid after watching shows like that?

Depending on how twisted and shocking they are, I'll get creeped out sometimes.
Just makes you think 'bout all of the weirdos out there who don't seem like weirdos..at first. :)

Haha, the same thing happens to me. I let those shows get into my head sometimes, but it only happens like during the show. Like, I will be thinking that there's someone outside/inside my house when I'm watching it. Afterwards, I watch something on a lighter note to make me feel better :)

I get extremely extremely paranoid after watching something that scares the hell out of me. If I'm outside and it's dark, I'm terrified that some murderer is going to come up from behind me and stab me in the back, so I always stick my hand on my back so, you know, the knife goes through my hand and not my back. Ha.

And my car! When my P.E. teacher taught us a sex ed class, she told us that rapists like to hide under your car and wait for you to approach, and then slash your ankles with a knife. So I pretty much jump into my car when I'm out late at night and have to drive myself home alone.

It depends on what kind of story it is.
