Well there have been bulletins stating that on 06/06/06 at 6:06 am the demon will let lose and the end of the world occur, but I'm not sure thats all true because first of all the bible says the end will happen at night and you will hear trumpits and drums. Plus God designed our minds so that we could never fully understand him and 06/06/06 is too obvious, its most likely going to happen when we least expect it. In the bible 06/06/06 does not represent the end, it is just a mark that is placed on your head if you follow the devils word when "the end" does come, to be quite frank, its not the end of the world, its the new beginnig of a new world. Demons will come on earth but after the war between good and evil Jesus will lead is followers into salvation and the earth will be his kingdom. So if your going to write about 666, get backround information and don't write out of ignorance. Besides if you follow God's commandments and believe in Jesus you have nothing to worry about.

Anyway, where is this quote from? It's true that if you read the bible it says that 666 is the "number of a man", not the time. It also says that only God himself knows when the time for the apocolypse will come, not even Jesus Christ knows. Another random note on 666. If you use the hebrew numeric system, where:

aleph = 1
beit = 2
up to
yod = 10
kaph=20
lamed = 30
and so on to
qooph = 100
resh = 200
shin = 300

(count by 1's up to ten, then by tens up to 100, then by 100's until the end)

If you use the hebrew number system, there is one name that, in both hebrew and english, will add up to make 666. That's what people believe about "the number of (a) man."

hey, who knows. The world could go into an apocolyptic state on that date, but you have to realize that some of the Biblical prophecies have not come to pass yet, and I don't think that they will in six days.

Here's one for instance. The European Union. They all have the same currency and other crap like that. I don't know much about it. But in the Bible there is a prophecy about a New World Order where all nations will be in peace and whatnot. For that to happen in six days is very unlikely. Hey it could, but like one person said earlier. Those billboards are for publicity. It's not like there have never been movies that have come out in June 6 before. Back in the Medival times they thought the world was going to end in 1666. I honestly think that's more obvious than June 6, 2006. You know? It's just people trying to get other people all hyped up about stuff alot of people don't even believe in. If they actually read it for themselves they would see. But you would have to do backround research because a lot of the Bible is confusing if you just read it for the first time.

Also, people say that the end times are near because of the state the world is in. Crime is up and war is everywhere. There is weather that shouldn't be in some areas. Well, stuff like this happens in cycles. People don't learn from history. It's not like crime was ever higher than it is now. Back in the Biblical times homosexuality was rampant. So, in some areas it was a lot worse hundreds even thousands of years ago.

For 3.5 years, the world will see peace, in which the third temple would be constructed in Jerusalem, but after that point, 'The Beast' will unleash evil, and enslave humanity. By the Christian bible, Jesus would come back at the last possible moment to save humanity.

It will not end on a 6/6/6. It will go by the Jewish calendar, as the number of the Beast is only 666 because that's the number of the Hebrew letters that make it up added together. In the Jewish calendar, there aren't numbers, but letters instead. I suppose, if it ends on a 666, it will end when the letters of the month and day equal 666.

Well, I know the world is suppose to end, well actually it says during Jesus coming that we are going to be judged, the saved will ascend to Heaven and the unsaved will go to Hell.
