Whenever I get a color code and put it in my code for a background color, it always comes out a couple shades lighter.
Why's that? Does that mean I should pick a color that's darker? |

Colors are sometimes displayed differently across different devices.

try adjusting the color quality on your monitor. It seems as though it may be set at "(Medium) 16 bit. Most people use "(Highest) 32 bit. I'm almost positive this is your problem.
