I made these really good icons, yet they won't accept them when i contribute them.. i think they are really good, the blue one is i think my best icon i've done.. or maybe they think i jocked them.. hm.. tell me what u think of them so i can make improvements on my next graphix. thanx!

Those swirls. This is just a personal bias but I can not STAND those swirls. Annoys the heck out of me.
And I agree..there's just...SOMETHING..with them. |

I think those are cute =] although, maybe the problem is they are simple?Because they are only text and a brush. The right texture always looks good on icons, they give 'em lots of style hahaha. Yeah, swirl brushes were a big fad by everyone once... 'were' being the key word in that sentence. I think its better if you download a different style of brushes.

They're pretty, but they don't have that little oomph to them.
They're simple. Almost too simple. That's probably why they rejected. |

Yeah, a simple icon is better when it's got some contrast. Or many a little animation? A "border" too maybe. As in a border brush. It doesn't have to be a literal border. |

One, they're really cliche, and two, try to use something other than the swirls brush, it's hackneyed.
