The school summer ball takes place in a few weeks and I asked a female friend of mine if she fancied going to the ball with me as friends. She said she wasnt sure if she was going to be able to make it as she might have family stuff to attend. I have known this girl for 7 months and we always seemed have got on ok as friends-shes in one of my classes at school and things had been good. After she told me she couldnt go, I said fine and steered the conversation to another topic.
But this evening, I was speaking to her on IM and she didnt seem too chatty which is understandable-then out of the blue, she invited me to view her webcam with her and two guys.
I really dont know what to do about this Why would she ask me to view her webcam if she already said she couldnt go to the dance-i dont want to lose her as a friend-any advice would be appreciated.

I just dont know what to do

hold on
your asking why she asked you to see her on web cam
since she said she couldn't go to the dance?

it makes it sound like you don't want anything with her since she said no?

i'm guessing you meant why did she ask you to see her on web cam with two other guys

well you need to ask her why she asked that?
if your bothered by it
tell her what you think by it.

I'm not really gripping onto what you're telling me. Be a little more clearer with what exactly you want to know.

Maybe she seemed quiet to you on Im because she was fixing that webcam or something, and she wanted you to see her and her friends. I don't really think it has anything to do with the dance.

I'm kind of sensing something, but I shouldn't say it. False assumptions make you look like an ass.

She said no to the dance.

She wants you to do a webcam looksie party.

To me, those sounds like two completely and utterly different things that SOUND like they have absolutely nothing to do with eachother.

Like, trains and strawberries. Two completely different things.

I really dont know. Its one of those things i guess-I did say AS FRIENDS and she did leave this message on my phone:

Fanx for the invite but im not sure if im gonna be able to make it.

I spoke to her today after an exam and told her that I really felt like an idiot for asking her out to the ball and she just said 'dont be silly'.
