ok well i wanna get my tongue pierced....is it a good idead or bad
if u need to know what im like for your choice here's some info uh..im athletic, short, long straight black hair, i love to party, and pretty daring,n im about to work at hooters....guys or girls can in put on this... thanks!!! ..or other options to get pierced.....that doesnt include PRIVATES!!!

great. I'm gross and skanky and I look bad.
 I love my tongue ring. Its cute and it subtle. Its not always in peoples faces, and its not quite as trendy as like lip rings. Lips rings kinda came out after the ounk and emo movement (not saying they are bad, just saying!!) but I personally think tongue rings are cute. I mean on some people they are skanky, but thats usually because the person is a whore lol. But the good thing about tongue rings is if you grow out of it theres no scarring, and they heal up super fast. It a great option if you want to something temporary. I know a lot of people who are growing out of their peircings now that they are getting out of college, and i know a few people with scars and things like that and theyre mad about it. But tongue rings dont have that problem, and they heal up in about 9 hours. versus having a hole in your face for a while. But if youre leaning away from tongue, I would recommend the nose one. The way they do them these days is really cute and subtle, with the tiny little stud thingy. It looks like a peice of slitter. I think it looks nice. But that can also look trashy. So can a lip ring, and an eyebrow ring. But if ur gonna work at hooters, I dont think you need to worry about looking any trashier (no offense, but it does have a rep) but yeah. I mean. Then there belly rings, but those are cliche and I hear they hurt like hell and bleed a lot. My cousin passed out in the shower when she was trying to clen hers, it was really scary cuz if she had been home alone should could have drowned so I'm not a big fan of those. Just shop around and find body jewelry you really like, and then decide how it would look on you. you are really the only one who can tell. but tongue rings dont make EVERYONE look bad and skanky and gross Kara and Suzzette. I'm not bad and skany and gross.  lol

Yeah, I guess you are right, my friend Liz had one, and it wasnt gross/skanky.
But I know alot of girls who get it for guys pleasure (bj). yeah... so thats why I think its skanky (sometimes) So I suppose some piercings look good on certain people and some dont. |

I just don't know why people want to get their tongues pierced, except maybe for sexual pleasure. *Shrug* Like..you have to have your mouth open or whatever in order for anyone to even seen it.

If you want to do it, do it. What are you worried about? If you don't like it, you can take it out. Piercings aren't always permanent you know. From what I've experienced, piercings don't hurt as much as people make them out to, if that's something you're worried about.
Personally I think tongue rings often look kind of trashy, but hey, so is working at Hooters... but that doesn't mean you are. If it's your style and you want to do it, go for it. |

I wouldn't want to get my tongue pierced, but that's me. I'm not a big fan of having a ton of piercings, especially on the tongue and the lip. It just looks odd to me.

I wouldn't get it done to myself, but if it's what you really want, and you feel that you're mature and ready enough to take care of it, etc, then it's really your decision. If you want it, get it. Otherwise, don't.

well first off my parents said no to hooters which i thought about it n money isn't everything plus i just got big headed cuz they offered the job t me n i dont want that weird look people give me when i tell them my occupation lol haha yes...
about the piercing im gonna get it done but im not gonna put huge gawky stuff on it ya know...like the bar or ring will be pink, i think they're cute but like someone had replied if i dont like it ill take it out ....thanks for your help everyone.... GUESS WHAT!!!!! my 17th birthday is JULY 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laugh: Today im officially a JUNIOR(11th) C/O 08!!!!WAHOOOOO N IM GETTING A CAR!!!.....03' Mits. you're not even 17 and you wanted to work at hooters? why dont you just become a 16 year old stripper instead? i'm not saying there is anything wrong with girls working at hooters and i have no complaints, but older men go there and you're only 16; not even legal.
do they even let people work there under 18? anyway, i have no clue what that had to do with your piercing, but okay. |
