Hella
A multi-purpose word invented by people in north california, indigenous to the Bay Area.

Adjective: To describe a lot of something or something good.

Noun: A lot of

Adverb: Suplemental, inferrs a great quantity or that you're doing something and DOING IT RIGHT!

-----

So far, I've only heard people from here (NorCal) say this word, including me and several other Bay Area kids. Don't think anyone else have ever used this.

Anyway, yeah it's been freakin hot these days. I swear, it was 88 today. I was dying in my room, and I didn't open my windows to let in air because I have severe allergies. Which, by the way, I spent over a hundred dollars on for prescription medicine.

So whuzzup. Hella tired right now.

EDIT;
I would also like to add that classical music is awesome. Foisefjoisfj you if you don't agree.

I hate you right now...it's only 53 in New York. But then again I don't have allergies, so opening a window isn't all that bad for me. How expensive is allergie medicine anyways???

What the hell? It's hella hellish here.

Naw, I don't use 'Hella'. Actually, it's rather uncommon for me to hear 'Hella' here in Long Island. Over here, 'Mad' is overused

Damn, that's mad cool yo. mad cool.

Sally, just because a group of people you hang out with use bad grammar and words, doesn't mean everyone else in the area does. For your inaccuracy and stupidity, I think this topic will be closed.

It's hardly limited to one particular area.

And once again, it's hardly "Asian"

I, however, don't use it. That just doesn't mean I don't hear it used.
