side pattern, how to? Options

I want on both sides of my layout to have a picture or background going vertically down, like on the wayyy side. if you know what i mean.
anyone know how to do that?

Depends. Most times people just make one huge background and get the profile in the middle.

well yeah but i want my profile defaulted.. like look like a rgular mysspace, only with a picture going doqwn the sides

Background image? eh maybe if you have a default profile. If it repeats. Well maybe do

You have to make it smaller..

like i made it smaller and then im like ok, now what?
and its like almost TOO small to where i cant read anyuthing and my top 8 looks retarded..

i just want a default profile with designs that go down the sides..
