Well, in Russian its basically the same thing only its pronounced differently like in English its Tanya but in RUssian it sounds more like Tanyah I dunno... but it sounds different, lol.

I don't know the correct spelling but my mommy tells me that it's "Mei Gay" and my grandmother calls me "Mei Kay" (or the other way around, I forget I don't know |

Well, I'm not Japanese, but:
