I find it ironic that Abercrombie & Fitch sells shirts that say things like "The one and only me," since the store only seems to serve to make everyone like everyone else… huh.gif

Haha, yeah that's a bit funny.
I see some other clothes shop celebrating "uniqueness" with T-shirts that are produced at a large amount.

The title of this thread completely decieved me.
I was looking forward to some nice, hot porridge. stubborn.gif

But..

Yeah no kidding. It is rather ironic though...but yes, I quite liked the topic title.
But its true, plenty of 'unique saying' shirts are everywhere now...and they are all starting to get rather similar.

Person #1: "Hey, I have that shirt too!"
Person #2: "Oh really? Well mine's better! It says, 'It's All About Me'!"
Person #1: "Well so does mine."
Person #2: "SO?"
Person #1: "They're the same."
Person #2: "I know. Cool huh?"
Person #1: "Durr."

I find the irony to be quite amusing, myself.

Then again, I hate those t-shirts with the smartass/sassy comments on them. Hahaha, not funny happy.gif

My Band teacher has this poster of Ironies and Oxymorons on her wall, but she had to white out some of them because they were inappropriate.

I hate how stores sell shirtws that say somethign along the lines of "I'm special" or "The world revolves around me" and EVERYWHERE you go, you see people what that shirt. mad.gif I don't like Abercrombie and Fitch.

What's a M.I.L.F?

Ahh yes. Gotta love Abercrombie&Fitch. Although if they're smart enough to market and manage to sell these shirts and past apparel to people, I'm sure they're laughing at their customers. I mean, they can't be that dumb.

Ahahaha, I love it. And Kathleen, even if they aren't laughing at their customers, never fear: I am.

(And thus I'm going to take this oppertunity to point of that the yellow A&F shirt James used to have with the big sloppy lettering was one of the most horrifying things in existance. That is all.)

*notices how topic isn't on irony anymore*

A perfect example of irony, was in the "Shouls we make......unmoderated.." topic, when someone (don't recall who) said that people shouldn't post unless they read all ofthe posts before, and Jose (before he unregistered) posted that it should and didn't even read the posts before. Nicki had replied 'Oh, the irony!" Twas amusing, in a way.

Yes. Their baby tees seem a bit arrogant to me; that's why I usually never buy my shirts there.

I hate Hollister more than A&F. They kill people's uniqueness. It's like you are supposed to conform with the "popular people" and wear preppy brands.

I see the irony too. Not-so-unique brands selling text tees indicating how unique the customer is. -.-

Same here, man.

I prefer American Eagle. Just because their tshirts either say american eagle or...something kid-like. sunshine makes me happy or love is in the air high above the clouds etc. etc. aeropostale too.

anyway, irony. i was on the subway one day and i saw this girl wearing a REALLY TIGHT tshirt that said "i know you want my bod"...
scariest thing, she didnt really have a body, more like rolls of meat.

I can see your point. That's so true. I kind of find it annoying sometimes, actually. Haha.. I don't know why. I don't like A&F or Hollister that much.

...But I guess that's how they make money. =p

abercrombie and hollister are genius. how the heck do they sell so many clothes by advertising half naked models? it's amazing. i really admire that. yes yes, the "brainless masses" buy the stuff but goddamn, i would jump on a chance to be able to do something like that...

Yeah, it pretty much only takes one good idea to take millions of dollars from other people and put it in your own pocket.
