Do any of you know how to get hair dye off of your hands? My sister is going crazy trying to wash the stain out of her hands. Can someone help please?

Try face astringent, or rubbing alchohol, or witch's hasel. What color is it?

I Googled, here a site that lists some ways of removing hair dye.
http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Remove-Dy...m-Hair&id=12543. http://www.hairfinder.com/hairquestions/remove_hair_dye.htm. Also I heard that toothpaste (not the gel type) can remove hair dye from hands & dish soap too. Oxy Acne Pads too |

I think you just use a lot of soap + water. The old fashion way.

haha
yeaa they give you gloves for a reason my mom use to dye her hair all kinds of colors red, pink, green, blue, purple, black. etc. but she never wore the gloves and she used dish washing soap.. its better than a bar of soap.. dont' rinse it right after you scrub your hands scrub your hands for a while and then rinse, may help also like face cleaner stuff.. like for people that have acne could use bleach but that stuff will eat your hands up really bad.. |

If it's black dye, time is the only thing that will get completely off unfortunately. I dye my hair a blue-ish black color, and it's a pain to get out. Luckily, since I used gloves I don't seem to have much of a problem with it. I don't get much on my face or neck anymore either since I rub a bunch of vasoline along the hairline (dye doesn't go through it).

Try vaseline. I dyed my own hair jet black a while ago and the tips of my ears were black for a week.
