Alright, e3 is dawning upon us now, so let's keep the e3 news here.

What do you think of the big 3's conferences?

Sony: Meh, but MGS4 looks good.
Nintendo: What else more do they possibly have to reveal? I'm waiting for Smash Bros. And Miyamoto kinda creeped me out.
Microsoft: GTA4 and Halo 3 make for some strong titles.

Sony: alot of stuff was "in development" for ps3, i was wondering why graphics didnt look great in games like resistance and untold legends. and so THATS what the motion detecting controllers are like, i guess it doesnt hurt to add something like that, they use it in Warhawk from what i saw. the only problem i had is that ps3 showed alot of "trailers" instead of gameplay unlike nintendo (gj nintendo). now from what did show from gameplay: heavenly Sword looks Nice. what i like about this is that it looks as though this girl has alot of Combos and moves. because i rarely saw the same exact move twice, and it looked like you can chain alot of combos too, aand the graphics were great. MGS4 of course looks cool. Getaway interests me, even though they didnt show sh*t. but it looks as thought the free roaming enviroment will be stunning. that little card thing they did with the ps3 was also kinda neat. i wont be getting it lol, but it looks innovative. FinalFantasy 13 will be a strong title duh. Lair looks like a nice idea. and lol at killzone 2. what happened killzone? haha. Overall nothing too bad. but i feel like i didnt see anything new...

edit:oh, but assansins creed looks like it'll be a solid title. and God of War 2...... i think i have an erection. and Crysis for the Ps3 looks beautiful. and the enviroments....wow, fully destructable forest glory.

Nintendo: i gotta give it to Nintendo, they showed us the MOST out of everyone. remember all those arguments we had about the controller Kyro? well i retract most of it the controller wasnt half bad, not bad at all a matter of fact. but i still feel i need to use it first lol.
if i were to buy one game from the Wii it would be "RedSteel" their demo was kinda cool. though i wish they'd show more of how the controller was used instead of just the game UGH. the controller is more interesting than the game dont they know that? gosh. because if that game was on a regular controller it would be sub par. but its not, so thats what makes it cool Mario Galaxy looks cool of course- okay let me just say this.. EVERYTHING on the Wii looks interesting. OKay!? theres not one game thats like "meh". thats all i have to say.
still stuff i wonder about though.

Microsoft: Halo 3, Gears of War, Prey, Ugo Volt. Halo3 will make all the fanboys cry, and will sell the most. Gears of war will probably be better but still not get as much recognition. Ugo volt Interests me. Prey looks awsome. though ive seen it alot. i cant believe their getting GTA4 at the same time as Sony grrr. after that theres not much to say in my opinion. i dunno it seems like xbox lost that brand new console smell.

Call of Duty 3 already!? jesus that was quick. i just beat COD2 a few months ago. it comes out for all systems also. well being a fan of duty, i gotta get it. even though all the gave was a pre-rendered trailer. they always do that though.

I've gotta give Nintendo props for remembering that there aren't people who can or want to plop $400+ down on a videogame system. Remember the days when an expensive videogame system was $150, and you got a game and two controllers with it (*cough* SNES *cough*)? Heck, when I remember when I scrounged for months to buy an N64. It was $150 and it only came with one controller and no game, and at the time, that was crazy expensive for a console.

I'm still not digging Nintendo's controller concept, but I do like the fact that they were working to bridge the gap between gamers and non-gamers. I like how Nintendo focuses on the gaming experience, and not raw specs and graphics capabilities. That's a typical gamer thing, to judge everything by raw numerical specifications. I like how Nintendo is working to capture the experience as a whole. I just wish they'd drop the whole gimmicky funky controller thing. Then I'd probably be sold on the Wii.

SNES launched at $200. And yeah, I remember spending $300 for N64, Super Mario 64 and an extra controller.

And for anyone who saw the Nintendo conference, did anyone else notice that Reggie looked pissed off for some reason? He looked really intense...

but yea the whole "moms not being scared of playing" conecpt wasnt that well planned. i mean when i look at the contorller it looks very scary to pick up. but mostlikely when you see someoen playing it, it looks easy and funn. but it is scary at first sight to me actually, not very welcoming.

but i cant wait i am definately going to get nintendo wii nomatter what name it comes in.

I think cortana has gone rampant. Bungie likes the rampancy theme, they did it in the marathon games, and they sorta hinted at it in Halo 2 with gravemind.

Oh, and as of today, Nintendo has me about 90% sold on the Nintendo Wii, thanks to the super smash bros pics. All they need to do is tell me the price, and if it's less than $200, I'm going to want to get it at launch.

I'm not really digging their zapper design though, they could have made it look cooler, but then again, the name of the console is Wii, so maybe they're just trying to keep it practical?

Yeah, zapper is a common term used for the old NES gun. I just updated the revolution thread, check it out there.

And I still cannot get over the piano in the Halo 3 trailer.

im really wondering which one to buy, the nintendo rev controller is neat and all, but is it nice enough to make me choose it over GTA4,Gears of War,FF13,Halo3,MGS4,DMC4,tekken6,I-8,Halo 3,Rainbow Six Vegas,Gran turismo, KINGDOM HEARTS 3?????


then you got other awsome looking games like Haze,Crysis,Lost planet,Heavenly Sword etc that also wont touch the rev.

and watching the tennis game be played looks like you wont be able to play too long lol.

Yeah, I was talking with one of my tennis friends, and we're hoping the reason why they kept hitting the ball out was because they all suck at tennis, not because the controller is that far off. I mean, why would they show it off if they know it doesn't work well?

They talked about a madden game in the pre-E3 conference. And I think they showed a Mario Hoops 3 on 3 demo, I'm not sure if that's going to be a real game though.

And yeah, I was originally in favor of buying a PS3 until I saw the price tag.

Another thing to note, the dev team says that they're having a little difficulty making 4 player smash bros work online... Cross your fingers guys.

Ok, I am a big fan of Sony's. Not a fanboy, because I do support the other consoles and systems too. I just like the Playstation. But this is getting absurd. The new dual shock controller has motion sensitivity, up down left right, tilt and all that crap. Is it just me, or does that scream "Revolution/Wii"?
And the Price tag is freaking crazy. 499-599. And it makes such a difference. Unlike the 360, where the Price tag only limited accessories, this 100 dollar price tag gives you 2 different systems! The 599 one, gives you a 60 gig HD, addition memory port, ethernet and wireless networking, HDMI ports and all that. But then the 20 gig one removes memory stick, CD/SD, and CF, Wireless networking, HDMI and all this crap. It's sorta really pissing me off.

2nd negative piece of news (at least for me, trouble with 4 player SSB online being the first) from Nintendo. The friend code system is being used for the Wii online games. I mean, I guess it's ok because the service is for free, but I wish it could be more like Live.

A poll was taken in Japan, and the vast majority were most impressed by the Wii presentation. Even the 360 announcements beat out Sony's conference.
