Totally, in the dark Options

Okay. I've been busting my butt tryin gto make sense of what I'm trying to do here. I know exactly what I want and no friggin clue how to do it, so I'm bowing down and asking for help from my fellow cbers.



This is my newest layout. (snazzy aint it) And I know exactly what i want everywhere. Allow me to explain.

-I want everypage to have a different text in the place of "NEWS"
-I want everypage t have the same frame everwhere else. Same menu same side modules. No changes there.
-Where the black headers say things like -latest pics- I want them to extend down depending on how much content is there.
-In the large text area underneath "NEWS" I want this to stretch down according to the amount of content, and I want the files to be controlled by php like they are at this site: link dont work
-I want the entire website flushed with the corner of the webpage. Right now I built it so far with tables and I can't force it into the corner. Theres about a 25 pixel padding on either side, and cell padding and all that are turned off.
-Where my navigation is I want that to be done in text, not an imagemap so that I can make them change color when somone hovers.

NOW! before you think "Okay she just wants someone to do this for her" Thats not true. I just know that I'm going about this wrong somehow. Let me tell you what I did. I chopped the image up into a big table. This was actually working except for the whole not in the corner part. Where my grey bar thingies are I was able to create a column and make the bg color the same color on the page (thank god for web colors) and so as i type it stretches. But I need it flush with the corner, and nothing I tried would get it to do so. It was really pissing me off. Also, I tried to do it by saving the image at the top as trasparent, but with a gif I lost sooo much image quality, even at the highest setting, and as a .png file, well on internet explorer the transparent areas turned blue. Which really angered me cuz I don't want blue around my image. And of course jpg doesnt save with transparency. So that didnt work. So now I'm trying to figure out what else I can do. I've seen this done before, like I remember Karas alice in wonderland xanga skin a long time ago did it, but I just cant get the grasp. Oh and I can't figure out how to just have the php control the main content. I get the whole .php thing, but I don't get how to have it only control one element of my page. So yeah. If someone could set me in the right direction I would be beyond grateful, because I want to do this myself, I just wonder if there is something major I'm missing here.

Wow. It looks like you already got everything figured out. I really like the layout. It must have taken forever to create all those image files. Very creative.

lol yeah i figured it all out. Actually I gave up on the footer cuz it was kinda ugly but yeah. it took forever but i got it. Thank God for google search and dreamweaver lol. Thanks :)
