[1] For smooth soft lips, wash your face and cover your mouth with moisturizer. Then take an old soft toothbrush and gently rub you lips in circles to get rid of flaky skin. Finish with a lip balm with SPF 15.

[2] Adding even the tiniest bit of colour will make lips look healthy, especially in the winter. One way to avoid having to re-apply lipstick all the time is by using a stain.

[3] Lipsticks can dry out your lips faster than you would believe. To stop the loss of moisture, use a balm over the colour.

[4] For lip liner, outline and fill in the lip the entire lip area (avoiding the sides/creases of the mouth) then use the lipstick you want and put on a cealer like lip balm or one like Colour Save Lip Sealer $7. (using a liner that matches you lipstick makes it easier not to mess up)

[5] To make lips look bigger, dab foundation on a brush and trace the outer edge of the lips before colouring. It creates a smugde proof area and gives the illusion of fuller lips. If in a rush, a lip balm with cinnamon oil help lips look plump too.

[6] In the winter don't lick your lips. Instead, apply a SPF 15 lip balm often thorught the day.

[7] Don't bite your lips. Irritation can be erased by a balm made with pain-relieving pramoxine.

[8] Switch your balm, toothpaste or lipstick. If your lips are constantly chapped or swollen, it may be a sign of an allergy due to flavourings in the products.
