Div overlays make me mad, Why does the page keep moving? Options

I am so sick of having to move around my div overlays. The stupid ad on the top of the page I think is what's doing it. Like right now, Help | Signout, MySpace.com | Home, The Web and MySpace radio buttons, and the Search field are all spaced out above the ad. Why? Sometimes it's not like that, sometimes it is. It messes everything up. Like look:

Marvin is walking right through the menu bar so you can't even click on it, and the MySpace URL box is too low. Who knows what it looks like for you. It's probably totally different.

Is there any way to get around the page moving all the time and make div overlays work?

you can take off the links
you just can't get rid of the ad..

its a normal myspace..
