I have considered about working with the dead bodies part lol. Haha, I love science.

Do you mean forensics as forensic scientist? With my limited knowledge, I thought forensics deal with more science than public speaking.

Public speaking is not my thing though.

one meaning is public speaking
and the other is working with dead bodies.
They have nothing to do with each other though,so if yu were to work with dead bodies I don't think you'd have to do much ublic speaking.

Forensics is like debating, Peggystur.

Nah, my high school didn't offer it, but it looks really cool and intense.

My old school did NFL but the furthest my school goes is state, but If I were at my old school I'd love to make nationals, tell me if you meet anyone there from Sheboygan North (Wisconsin)
Oh,and by the way, I'm in prose,and I did 4 minute poetry,and oil as a freshman,I'm a sophmore rigt now.

I DID FORENSICS. When I posted a topic about this awhile ago, no one had any idea what I was talking about then, either. I did LD for awhile (whee *high fives anoniez*), and I also did prose/poetry, dramatic and humorous interp here and there. Heh. I didn't have much time for it this year. I wasn't into the whole waking up early on Saturdays thing anymore. pinch.gif

I did. I was an improv speaker. I wasn't very good at it, though, but I did get a lot better at public speaking while I was in it.

One of my fortes is being able to get up and talk about anything, and sound like I know something about it.

I actually did extemp for a while, incidentally, but I found that to be kind of boring.

LOL.
i go to a school in texas, [hint: we're the largest NFL school if you look on the website] we usually do TFA (its a just for texas thing) but we qualify quite a few people for NFL nationals every year.
and my school doesn't do IE's hardly.. although the people who do do it are really good.. but i don't, lol. extemp freaked me out the first time i tried it so it is (or was) basically LD for me.. hahah

on a side note, don't you hate it when people say "extemp" (short for extemporaneous, right?) as "extempt"? lol it drives me NUTS.
lol and it also drives me crazy when people spell debater as "debator." i don't think its incorrect but it looks so uglyyy ahhhh ;_;

LOL my boyfriend says it "extempt" and I HATE IT! He says it sounds more professional (booshih). =)

Hahah I did a topic like this too once...but yeah. =) At the beginning of the year I did oratory...then LD then extemp then improv. I'm probably going to do expos next year (if I stay in)....I'm still finding my niche. =)
