Is anyone gonna watch it May 5th?

I heard it was the movie Tom Cruise did the most stunts in, which means so much more action!

I'm gonna watch it..:D

Nah I don't think I'm gonna see it. I was never a big fan of Tom Cruise anyways, but I did see the first MI and I thought it was good... hope this one is as good.

Tom Cruise has really lost his mind and I'm not sure if I want to want his movie anymore. Then again, I've never really like Mission Impossible.

I might watch it just for Maggie Q, though.

I loved Mission: Impossible. In terms of action films, Mission: Impossible 2 was awesome. And I am a huge fan of Tom Cruise. So yeah, I'll most likely see M:I-3.

True, Tom Cruise does bring baggage to the film for me, but hey...I love Mission Impossible. Especially the 2nd one.
I'll see the third one someday, it looks decent.
Probably not in theater, I wouldn't pay $10 to see it lol.
But maybe i'll rent it or watch it on Tv

Gah, last night, a lot of people at my school got to watch a free screening and got to see Tom Cruise and the other stars. Kinda makes me wish I had gone as well...
But yeah they said that it was really good, but I don't care that much for Tom Cruise though.

I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise either, however, I am a huge fan of JJ Abrams (Creator/write/director of Alias and Lost) and he directed the film. I'll see the movie just to see what he does with it. Phillip Seymour Hoffman looks great as the baddie as well and always puts on a great (albeit at times hammy) performance.

Okay, so I ditched practice to go watch MI3 with a few friends and I think that the movie is pretty good. Not a "must see" but a "should see" if that makes sense. It is action packed, a few hotties (females) in there pinch.gif . The plot is good.

I'm not much of a reviewer... I can only say that overall it deserves a grade of B+.

I saw it last night. It was pretty good. Not as good as the first or second, but pretty good.

There are a couple things I didn't like about it. One is that it seemed to borrow a lot of ideas from previous M:I movies, especially the first one. This one once again deals with Ethan Hunt being thought of as a traitor, a rehash of the plot of the first movie. (Another key plot concept seems derived from the first movie, but I don't want to say it because it will ruin the ending.) It is also more action-oriented, kind of like James Bond movies. The thing I liked about the first one was that it didn't focus so much action, and it had a more in-depth plot. M:I-2, while good, became more action- and less plot-focused (probably because John Woo was directing). M:I-3 continues that trend.

But in terms of action movies, it's fairly engaging. It's pretty long (at least two hours, maybe more), but I didn't fidget once (and I have a pretty short attention span when it comes to movies).

I saw somewhere in the news that it wasn't as successful as they thought it would have been. I don't think I'm going to see it. After all, I haven't seen the first 2.

very well said. ratings are already out check out yahoo.com for that. Although, it's not as high as the ratings like way back 2000 for MI 2 but yeah like what others said here on the forum and for the critics it did affected his controversial issues regarding his relationship and his religion. but the movie is pretty good compare to the previous ones.

Actually went and saw it in theaters...

I really enjoyed it actually, probably my favorite one out of all 3 of them. I haven't seen a good movie in such a long time, so this one was a breath of fresh air.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was great in it.

I enjoyed it from start to finish. It was very engaging the stunts and action sequences were lovely. :) So was Tom Cruise. *cough* Oh, and Keri Russel even tho her dead corpse kinda creeped me out.

Its my favorite out of the 3.

I just saw it tonight and I loved it :) It was such a thriller with seriously non stop action. Tom Cruise was great, as were Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonathan Rhys Meyers throb.gif. I was also a fan of Billy Crudup's character, until..you know ;) What a great cast.

^Agreed! I thought it was a fun movie; kept me satisfied the whole way through. Granted I didn't see the first two movies, I could still follow this one and enjoyed it.
