hard drive problem |

just got a new OEM hard drive online. i connected the power and sata cable. When i turn the computer on it takes like around 2 minutes to start the computer and I hear clicking noise coming from the hard drive. Is that normal? I just got it yesturday and I didn't drop it or shock it. When I go into my computer it seems like it didn't read the hard drive. My computer is almost brand new, i heard newer computers should auto-detect it but it didn't. Look at the hard drive's web page and i did what it told me to do and it will won't read it. i'm pisst because it seems like i have a defected kind. Anybody have any ideas? thanks a lot!

try emailing them or ask customer service. i don't understand OEM hard drives that well, so i can't help much... sorry.
