My friend is coming over tomorrow and wants me to help her be more girlie so that guys will ask her out or whatever...does anybody have any tips or links on how to become more of a girlie girl???

talk about fashion. like the mall. wear skirts.
be REALLY hyper and peppy. and preppy. but if she wants guys to ask her out, then she should just act like herself. not someone else. i think this should belong in relationships though. or at least the girl's locker. |

^ That's what I was thinking. Don't make her try to be someone she's not, or it'll make it worse. Besides, I don't see anything wrong at all with being a tomboy. She'll find the right guy if she acts like herself- she can't just snap her fingers *shazam!*

Eh ... take her out shopping and let her buy what she feels comfortable wearing, and just offer suggestions. Help her be more open-minded, but mostly, let her choose for herself, so there's more of her personality than yours. So she's still being herself, just mixing it up a bit.

the MOST you should change her is... to put some makeup on her and change her hair, and maybe a skirt every once in a while. but don't change her personality... she shouldn't have to act like something she's not to get a guy. he would be liking someone else

Erm......... well........... start with her clothes.............. if she wears baggy t-shirts and baggy pants.............. try to get some cute tops and bottoms................. maybe like........ clothes that are a little tighter so that they show her curves and stuff?!?!
Don't put her in mini skirts straight away coz she might feel uncomfortable wearing them......... Don't be too much of a girly girl though........... majority of guys want a girl they can have fun with but still maintain the "feminine" look~ its pretti much being inbetween tomboy and girly girl...... Keep the personality though~ Coz its hard to change ur personality on purpose and keep on acting like that all her life............... |

That's a pretty easy one. Buy a few clip-on earrings and rings at Claire's, some clearance items from Abercrombie, Hollister, and Aeropostale, and go to Wal-Mart to buy a few pink frilly decor for your room.

If she wants to be asked out by boys then she needs to be herself. There's no use pretending to be someone who you know you're not. One day a perfect Guy will come along and see her for who she really is, not just what she looks like. When Guys see girls for who they REALLY are then you know that that's a serious realtionship - one that actually has a chance of lasting.

That has got to be one of the dumbest reasons to change from a tomboy to a girly girl.
If she's really got the tomboy attitude, then I'd have thought she could pull that off herself. A while ago, some of my closer guy friends started asking me when I turned into a woman... I told them it was then I found out they were homosexual. Just hand her some magazines and tell her to go away. |
