userpic/image map, problems... Options

Okay, I know that you've posted a code making the top navigation for Generator to disappear, images and all.
I used your code provided in the FAQ section (including style="visibility: visible;").
However: when I enable my icon, the whole image map shifts to the right.

I have no idea how to get rid of it, besides disable the icon. But is it possible to overlap the icon with the image map? I've seen the layouts posted here and one of my friends' friends uses an image map while enabling her icon. I've tried to find codes that might help me, but all they do is make everything disappear or shift my map...

Icons are disabled now, but if you want me to show you, I will.

What I usually do is just put a fake one up.. You have to actually edit the code everytime you want to change the icon, but it works. Try putting it in like this:

CODE

<img src="icon url here" style="position: absolute; left: ##px; top: ##px; visibility: visible;" />

And just position it in wherever you want it to show up.

Hmm.. If you don't mind, go ahead and post your overrides and I'll see if I can make it work without having to do all that though.
