OK, so we have to accept that at this current minute, TNA is the only thing to competing with WWE. WWE Raw dropped Spike TV to go back to the USA Network, and now Spike has picked up TNA iMPACT!, and gave it a decent Saturday at 11pm timeslot. However, Spike were getting impressed with the mixture of 0.8 and 1.0 ratings for iMPACT!, so moved it to a Thursday primetime slot at 9PM. YES! GLORIOUS! HOWEVER, Spike, just weeks before moving TNA to primetime, changed their minds, and put iMPACT! on Thursdays at 11PM! 11PM! RIDCULOUS! Who would stay up on a week night, with work/school the next day until midnight? Absolute stupidity.
So there are two ways we can discuss this thread, we can talk about ways to make TNA better, or what tactics Spike TV should use to make it a competition to the WWE. Your choice, do both if you want, but for now, I'm going to spew in anger at what a ridiculous timeslot has been given to TNA iMPACT! Luckily in Ireland, however, TNA iMPACT! is on The Wrestling Channel, Saturday's at 9PM, but it's really the US/Canadian ratings that count, and that;s what I'm concerned about for TNA at this minute. Just In: The first TNA iMPACT! Thursday at 11pm rating scored a 1.1. |

Another way to make TNA better I'd say is to now work on the gimmicks. The wreslers all have skills but from what I've seen they're just wrestlers. They need better gimmicks.

Also, the X Division needs to be expanded above only Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. |

I think now they should work with Chris Sabin and Petey Williams. AJ Styles is flexible, no matter what title he goes for, he's like the Hulk Hogan of TNA.

True, AJ Styles is a very talented wrestler.
Chris Sabin is also, but I won't take him seriously until he changes his hair back to normal! |

Sonjay Dutt is also a good wrestler. He needs to be focused on as well.

Hmmm, I'm not a bug Sonjay Dutt fan. His nickname puts me off him. Odd that he's Indian and in Team USA for the X Cup.
In my opinion, Samoa Joe should be moved away from the X Division, and given a World Title push. |

Also, giving iMPACT! a live slot could be enough to get a spike in ratings.

It's Spike TV what can you expect? I watched it a few times when I had nothing else to watch. It's not really a "1.1" on my scale. It's actually funny as well as it is stupid.

I really don't think there's that many viewers, prolly in the 5.0+ scale because on all the forums I go to they talk about it.

It was 1.1 when the OFFICAL rating came in. That means that's what the rating was, full stop.
