um.. im not sure if this is PG-13... but i really need to know...

my boyfriend and i became quite intimate a couple months back.. and a couple weeks back.. we had briefly had oral sex (him doing it to me..).. and now.. im not sure if its related.. but after that incident.. i have little bumps under my pubic hair area (ive never had something like this before until after.. that..). They look like little pimples.. and they are pretty itchy.. but if i ever do itch them.. they start hurting a lot... did i get some kind of HIV / STI or anything like that... cry.gif what's wrong with me? im getting nervous/scared... or is this something that has nothing to do with HIV/STI and something else? please help... cry.gif

I'm not an expert but consulting a doctor would be a wise decision.

That sounds pretty bad...
It can't simply be dry skin if there are painful bumps... You may have contracted herpes...hopefully not but you definitely should go see a gynecologist.

You could go to a Planned Parenthood, I believe they have a policy of confidentiality.

Don't you have those doctors who allow anonymous teen patients in your area?

It sounds like crabs, although I don't know how you would have gotten it from oral sex.

QUOTE
What are the symptoms of crabs?

Symptoms commence approximately 2-3 weeks after contamination. The symptoms of crabs are primarily dermatological: localized itchiness (pruritus) of the affected regions, whether in the genital or other hirsute (hairy) skin zones. At times a patient may observe tiny blood stains in their underwear – this may signal the presence of the parasite before the itchiness begins. Itchiness is caused by the penetration of the local skin by the bug – in order that its eggs may be laid (small red spots). Minute pale brown insects or their pale whitish eggs may be visible if you look close enough.

I'm sure it's obvious that you should contact your gyno as soon as possible... If you don't get early treatment, it'll end up a lot worse than it started out.

Agreed. It sounds more like shaving related than oral-sex. Have you shaved your cho-cha recently? If so, then you have ingrown hairs.

Seriously - go to your ObGyn and SOON. If there is a potential problem, you might have an infection that could grow steadily worse. This is not an area of your body to neglect.

I understand that you don't feel comfortable speaking to your parents about this. Perhaps go to Planned Parenthood?

sometimes that happens when you shave your pubes. it could be from that but it depends - have you shaved down there recently?

First off. Was your bf tested?

I understand that your parents dont like you having a bf. But some STI's such as syphilis can be fatal if they are not treated. Others such as aids are life long. Its better to tell your parents or your conditons will get worst?

I suggest going to a doctor; what's the worst your parents can do? Ground you? I really, really, hope they wouldn't kick you out of the house pinch.gif

I'll pray for ya, and make sure your boyfriend is with you through this happy.gif
