If i can go back and wish upon a star
I'd pray to god to get rid of these scars the scars that remind me of what use to be how you were here so close right next to me was it love I'm missing or is just these memories I cant let go as time passes me by watching time tick my life away getting colder everyday, these lonely times i have to let go love is gone now its eating me whole day after day but its you I miss and the memories we've held from our first kiss, to our last I miss your gentle touch but things changed and everything fell before my eyes if I had one wish , I'd wish I couldv'e said these words to you I'm sorry for all the tears you've cried on the phone while you waited for me in your room all alone I regret not chasing after you when you walked out the door now I find myself crying banging my fists on the floor If I wasnt such a fool I'd still be holding you tight while you hold me too and tell me everythings right But it's too late, now that my chances are gone as the memories I keep in my heart is what I hold on If I can go back and wish upon a star I'd pray to god to get rid of these scars the scars of remind of what use to be the memories of you and me. |
