If a couple has continuous fights. Not even serious fights, but they start off small, for the dumbest reasons. If neither of them is happy. Or all HE does in the relationship is make her feel bad, what is best for the two?

Well, if they are not happy and they continuously fight, the best solution would be to break up. They should probably first talk to each other about it though. In a relationship, you should be making each other happy, not the other way around.

what if a break up isnt what they want deep inside, but he has troubles showing how much he loves her? and what if he finds it difficult to get along, or hold his temper back

Alright, heres the deal. I have a girlfriend and I can't seem to hold my temper back. Whenever we fight I can't keep myself calm. I don't like the thought of her crying, and it makes me feel terrible. I don't mean to be a total prick, or an a-hole, but I always come off like one. I hate being the one that hurts her all the time, and I wish it would stop. I hate making her unhappy. I need help on some ways to keep her happy =/.. Or hold my anger back.

Help?

i had a similar problem like this with my ex girlfriend we got into alot of fights and when i say alot i mean almost 5 times a day. i mean don't get me wrong she meant alot to me but when im mad i don't take crap from anybody. when i was still with her i knew i couldnt say anything without getting slapped so i tried to make it up to her by buying her flowers or something it worked everytime. the most reasonable thing for you two right now would be some time off or a nice fat talk whichever is better for you good luck

Maybe you need to take a break from relationships and get a handle on your temper before starting one.

Oi. This is similar to what an acquitance of mine is going through. She and her bf have fights over the smallest things...and he doesn't really pay attention to her much anymore.

There's a couple of ways to deal with this:
1) Ignore and hope that everything will be fine after a while. Obviously not the smartest way to go.
2) Have a heart to heart talk. Good if neither party gets too emotional.
3) Take a break. Maybe a little time apart would help each to determine their feelings for each other.
4) Break up.

Good luck!

I was like that with my Ex. I always thought I could fix myself after every single fight, but it always ended the same. We broke up twice but we're best friend now. But I still like her. However, I'm content with our friendship. I still get jealous when she hangs out/talks about guys, but I don't show it. I try to work on my temper, you know? Maybe she'll see the change and decide to give me another chance. Who know? =p

^ I agree with whenALLelsefails. I'm not too fond of breaks, but if that's what me and my boyfriend needs then I have no choice but to respect it. In my opinion, I'd prefer (as whenALLelsefails puts it) a nice fat chat. blink.gif

Are you so sure that your girlfriend shares the same opinion as you? I'm not sure, but if the talk leads to nowhere and you guys don't get anything compromised, as blunt as he was. I'd have to agree.

If you guys continuously have little fights, and you guys aren't happy about it .. ? Break up. If the boyfriend is going to continuously make you feel bad; I would break up with him right there. I won't let any guy treat me like that.
I .. think like you guys have said .. a " chat " would help. But if you guys are a type of couple that doesn't like communicating with each other .. or your either afraid that it will end up being a fith . You should tell him how you feel .. &&. if it doesn't work .. say .. " let's just be friends "

i hate to break it to you but i think that if your naturally a hot tempered person then youll always be one. my mom is like that pinch.gif i think you and her could talk about it. is that why you and her fight? because your not affectionate enough?
