i'm trying to make this pixel, but i want it so that the white area around it is transparent. so for example, if you posted the image on a site and the background color on the site was black, it wouldn't be white around the image. how do i do this in ms paint?

Nope. Which is why I directed you there, since that's the next best thing.
Of course, you could have the illusion that it was transparent. It wouldn't be truly transparent tho. |

yeah, it's impossible to make an ms paint creation transparent. Sorry to say.
