Shoplifting, and cases of racism Options

So near my home, theres a junior high right next to an Osco. Just to add, the people that work at this Osco are all white. 1/2 the students at this junior high are african-americans. There would be many cases of shoplifting at the Osco right after the junior high's school day ended, so the managers make the students leave the bookbags at the door, which is fine. Weeks later, the shoplifting stopped, so the white students got to carry their bookbags around the store while the african-american students still had to leave their bookbags at the door AND there would be men that worked at the Osco that would secretly follow around only the african-american junior high students. The shoplifting had increased once again, but its obvious that it wasnt the african-american because they were checked and padded down before they left, yet nothing was found in their pockets, shoes etc. They knew it was the white students, yet did nothing about it.

Q 1. Do you think that this is racism?
Q 2. Do you think that from the acts of the men and women that worked at Osco, they should be fired?

As for me, I think that this is complete racism. What are your views on this?

The students should sign a petition and protest in fron of Osco. If they don't let you protest there, FIND A LAWYER. Let the judges decide.

yeah I'm going to have to say is racism just because they segregated their treatment of blacks vs. whites. I mean i think it was fair to have the student leave their backpacks at the door, but legally they cannot search you physically unless they have actual video proof of you stealing something. But i mean, even if they had let the black kids off and said the white kids had to leave their stuff at the door and had to be foloowed and searched, it would still be descrimination. Everyone should be treated the same. Unless you have a proven history of stealing frmo the store. Like I know a girl who is banned from every blockbuster in texas. Cuz she was scamming them all the time with fake checks. But that is very wrong. And I think the workers there shouldnt be punished, it should be the managers because if you fire all the workers, and the management stays, the behaiviour will continue. However, if the workers were happy to do that, instead of ignoring their bosses or doing the right thing, maybe they should be punished too. either way, a lawyer should be getting invilved and quick.
