Eh, because she's asking what you guys would like to see in a magazine, I'l lleave this open. But I'm debating on whether or not to move it to the "Books" forum.

Still doesn't seem to work for me. _unsure.gif

But what I've always loved in a magazine was: Embarrassing moment, cheap trendy clothes, cute hair styles, advice.

I see you used my idea. _smile.gif ...Unless it was already there. Well, I think it would be even better if you made the site much more colorful and for the embarrassing moments, it's nice to have something catchy to make the reader want to find out more.

My favorite parts in a magazine are always the embaressing moment stories that people send in.
Oh wow, you used all of jane's ideas. Well I agree with most of what she suggested, anyhow.

How about like "real life" stories?
Or a awesomely cooly totally radical cool person page? shifty.gif *winkwink*

A manga page, maybe? I know a lot of people like manga.
Have a romantic moments page, maybe.
Once you hit it big, (you will) do lots and lots of interviews.
And have a workout section, too.

When you put in titles for the embarassing moments, please don't use cheesy titles, Cosmopolitan does that and it annoys me.

Is this an actual magazine that will be sent out or is it just an online thing?

It's an actual magazine, this is just the e-zine part of it.

What kind of stuff would you want in it?

And a question to everyone who thinks they might buy an actual Muy Teen magazine, should I type-set or hand-write the magazine? I'll do what the people want. happy.gif

I have an advice page, but until people send in questions for it, I need to delete it and put in a different page.

What should I name my magazine?
Would you be interested in reading it?

Edit by Kristina: Should his/her magazine be typed, or handwritten?

Wait, what about Cosmopolitan?! Guys read that magazine too! To some guys, that magazine is a bible. wink.gif And to girls too!

Oh wait, did you mean every teen magazine that you've seen? Hm.. I guess you're right on that one. wink.gif

I also think there should be at least one article about politics. It could get teenagers more actively involved in political issues, since it much of what the government is doing will affect us more as we get older. Teens are a demographic group with the most political apathy -- or well, at least it says so in my ap government and politics book... whistling.gif

Hey, if anybody's interested, you could write articles to go in the magazine. I could re-invent the magazine and make it sort of for girls and guys. If you're interested, reply or PM me. I could use the help! happy.gif

That's true. Plus it would be in color if it's done on the computer, since I can print out copies there instead of using the copy machine in black and white.

Okay, so I'm re-inventing "Muy Teen" magazine, and I'm going to make it for guys and girls. Any name suggestions? And topic suggestions? Help!! tongue.gif

Yes, I'm making a NEW magazine!!

Even though they all have to do with the same "magazine". They all are on different subjects related to the factor. I think it's a good idea, keeping it up and all. :)

I guess $1 for 30 pages is okay. What will be on the cover of it? How are you going to ship it to people?

I'm going to ship it in bubble mailers (my mom owns a store so there's a billion around..plus they're really cheap so that isn't a big concern) and on the cover, what do you mean, like physically? Just previews and such.

Okay, what do you guys think of this name for the magazine: "Teenage Society"?

BTW- Thanks Jorge, I used your suggestion for the title, except when you suggested it, it was a topic suggestion...but thanks anyway! _smile.gif

Oh, I LOVE those sample things.
But where the heck would you get them?

So far, the idea of "real life/shocking" type stories seems like something that would interest both genders.

Yeah, but I have no clue where to get them tongue.gif

I am thinking of interviewing some people about things like drugs, alcohol, and peer pressure, and how they feel about it, is anybody interested?
