I am a huge fan of Sarah Dessen books and I was wondering if there were any people out there that likes her books too... my personal favorite is "This Lullaby". I'm hoping they make a movie out of it!

i love sarah dessen. i stayed up till 3 (AM) reading "This Lullaby" once, and i was feeling so touched by it. seriously. i want to read "the truth about forever" sometime. my favorite: keeping the moon. i love how she finds confidence and learns to see the beauty in herself.

ok that was a little corny _smile.gif

Dresden's books are definitely what every high school girl should read. They're very romantic, but they have admirable central characters and whimsical story lines.

I decided to read Just Listen today and Barnes and Noble and I couldn't stop...so I finished! (; It was an amazing book, just like her other ones. I love Sarah Dessen.

There were so many things related to her other book in this one!! Like they went to that Bacon place, and I swear it was the Waffle place from Truth About Forever...

And Boo Connell (the guy that Owen's mom mentions where they're at the store) is that neighbor guy from Dreamland.

So far I've read:
Someone Like You
Dreamland
The Truth About Forever
Just Listen

I really need to read This Lullaby.

I LOVE all her books! Once you start reading, you can't stop! My favorite has to be The Truth About Forever. Wes is so hot! I wish he were real. ;]

i got hooked after my best friend gave me "the truth about forever" for christmas...my favorite ones are "this lullaby" & "just listen" though.

i think it's great that in those two books there's a slight character cross-over/reference.

all of her books are awesome though, i think there are only two that i haven't read yet...(can't wait to find them!)

Dreamland was my favorite mainly because it was so different than her other ones. I loved it. I read it in one day. The way some people are about harry potter books I am about sarah dessen's books.

I absolutely LOVE Sarah Dessen's books! I've read ALL her books besides the new novel, which I'm waiting till it comes out in my library. T_T Which can take a longgg time. I'm tempted to buy it once it comes out on paperback, the new book, I mean. biggrin.gif

Eeek. I love her books! I started out reading Keeping the Moon, I think freshman year of high school. She instantly became my favorite author. I completely agree, This Lullaby should definitely be a movie :]

I still hope to get The Truth about Forever, Dreamland

Randomly this girl in Barnes and Noble started recommending them to me one day, so I ended up reading the How To Deal book, which was a combination of two other books...I can't remember the titles. They were okay, they were entertaining enough, but I need a little more depth to my literature.

How to Deal combines Someone Like You and That Summer.

Just Listen didn't really do much for me. I don't know if I'm slightly outgrowing her stuff, but it didn't have the same impact as This Lullaby or Someone Like You.

I love how characters have "guest appearances". So kewwwl.
